The industrial development that is generated in this area plays a vital role in the flow of capital of the region, the growing industry contributes greatly to the economy of Sinaloa.  In the city of Los Mochis is located a very important sugar mill. There are 800 industrial establishments among which the automotive turn (electric harnesses), metal mechanics, bodywork, various repair shops and textile, as well as assemblers and distribution centers stand out among their number; 89% of these are family micro-enterprises that are grouped in 20 industrial turns.

It has extensive areas such as: Santa Rosa Industrial Park, Jiquilpan Industrial Zone, Mochis-Topolobampo Industrial Corridor, Mochis-Guasave Industrial Corridor, Topolobampo Port, Topolobampo Industrial Fishing Park and Park Ecological Industrial and Commercial of Topolobampo that besides being marine terminal of the national railroad of Mexico becomes a strategic point between East Asia and the United States; Next to the port and only 21 kilometers from the city is located the Industrial Park with an area of ​​50 hectares, seeks to locate the non-polluting industry by offering its services to the demands of large multinational companies for their establishment.
